Just some of the things people feel and have to say about their time with A.R.O. after rafting the Hudson River. The Hudson River is a 17 mile wilderness rafting trip through the Hudson River Gorge, with great whitewater and Adirondack scenery it is the longest stretch of whitewater in New York and is considered the “Grand Daddy” of all N.Y. rivers. .
Our season begins in April and runs into October. The spring season is “Big Water” season. It will provide you with all the excitement and heart pumping adrenaline action you can handle.
As we move into the late Spring and early Summer water levels and weather conditions mellow a bit and the river becomes a perfect trip for everyone with an adventurous spirit. When Summer is upon us the river is ideal for the entire family when warm water and family fun abounds. In the Fall the gorge is turned into an aurora of scenic splendor not to be missed.
And just when you thought the river was all there was, we serve you our famous chicken BBQ for you to enjoy as you relax after your trip at our North River N.Y. river outpost location. A rafting trip on the Hudson is not to be forgotten.
